A distinguishing feature of successful schools is an effective curriculum. A curriculum is a blueprint, a draft of all scholastic, textual, and extra-curricular activities that students must undertake in a specific school year. For the teachers, a curriculum is a guidebook to steps of imparting education. A teacher has to follow a systematic approach to ensure that the students understand the concepts. At the end of the school year, the curriculum becomes the basis of assessing a student’s progress. A good curriculum includes academia, learning skills, sports, outdoor activities, and interpersonal development. Often, we fail to recognize the value of curriculum in a child’s growth.
At Nest Group of Schools, we have over the years, developed an effective curriculum that fulfils all the needs of the kindergarten students. We train the children to be well spoken, responsible, hardworking, and most importantly become “good human beings”. The teaching material at The Nest puts great emphasis on verbal comprehension, on building a child’s vocabulary and teaching them to follow instructions. The Nest faculty strives to create new and innovative lessons. Our worksheets and quizzes have proven to be a great platform for the students to learn and grow. Our board members study the best school practices and international trends and share them with our students to ensure a bright future for all ‘Nestians’!
