On a bright sunny morning of Sunday, 19th November, the little students of Nest Group of Schools, rose from the bed, looking forward to their performance at the Annual Function, “Mera Bharat”. It was an exciting day for everyone when we all reached The Epicentre, Apparel House. The show began well in time with our Director, Shaloo Sapra, welcoming the guests. Her presentation on the school achievements and growth was well received by the audience wherein she outlined how Nest Pre School has grown leaps and bounds, all thanks to the wonderful teachers, staff and the trust of parents . She also pointed out that Nest group was now marking its presence in Delhi with opening of 2 more branches. The Nest Group of Schools is currently operating 14 branches across the country and will soon be adding 3 more branches in near future. The presentation was followed by a welcome speech by our little Nestians who engaged the audience and prepared them for the “naach gana and rolla rappa”
The function began among rounds of applause with lamp lighting followed by a beautiful performance on Vande mataram by your teachers. The little Ganeshas themselves then performed on Ganesh Vandana. The momentum was kept up by enthralling music and enthusiastic dance performances by Nestians. A digital show in the background added magic to the event. From Bollywood hits to patriotic songs, from cute hunny bunny to heart touching sandeshe aate hain everything was well conceived. A standing ovation by the audience after every performance left the kids delighted and ecstatic. The colourful and peppy dresses of the participants were appreciated by all. The surprise element of the show was a stunning dance routine by the teachers of the Nest Pre School highlighting girl child and women empowerment.
The astounding success of our show Mera Bharat comes as no surprise, since the teachers put in so much effort and time in preparing the little children to go onstage. Their hard work paid off and the parents gave us very encouraging feedback through sms, emails, whatsapp & facebook comments and posts. A word of thanks to our audience for being there. A big shout out to staff, technicians, and helpers because of whom ‘Mera Bharat’ proved to be just that COLOURFUL & BEAUTIFUL!!
