Jim Rohn says, ” Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment “.As parents, it is our duty to discipline our children.Discipline means preparing them to lead civilised lives in our civilised society.It does not mean punishment of any kind but encouraging good behaviour to keep the children out of danger and inculcating high moral values. It is said that kids don’t listen to parents, they watch and follow them. Hence ,Parents are the best role models for their kids . It is a good idea to appreciate and reward good behaviour, teach self control, and help the kids to accept and learn from their mistakes. It is important to spend quality time to discuss issues that affect them, and setting limits and rules .Moreover, children should be made to understand that good discipline leads to independence and responsibility . It is the key to a happy, contended life!
